Mazda strips down a perfectly good Mazda3 to its very last part in the quest for quality
In August 2013, Zoom-Zoom set off on a truly epic journey – the six-week, 15,000-kilometre continent-crushing Route 3 trek from Japan to Germany. This intrepid expedition crossed vast swathes of Russia and went tint Western Europe to research the durability of the all new Mazda3.
After the trip, five of the eight cars tested were shipped back to Mazda’s Hiroshima headquarters in Japan, stripped down to their last nut and bold and examined in microscopic detail by the engineers of Mazda’s Vehicle Research and Development departments.
Below is a Time-Lapse Video of the Masda3 disassembly.
